Jolanta Gegelevičiūtė

Jolanta Gegelevičiūtė, born in 1966 in Lithuania’s Rokiškis district, established the groundwork for her artistic journey upon graduating from the Lithuanian State Art Institute (now the Vilnius Academy of Arts) in 1989. Her multifaceted oeuvre encompasses a range of mediums, reflecting her adaptability as a painter as well as a freelance graphic designer. Since 2008, she has been an active participant in the Lithuanian art scene as a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association.

Gegelevičiūtė’s creative output spans many disciplines—textiles, digital graphics, and poetry among them. Her dedication to artistic inquiry is evident in the breadth of her exhibition history, with more than ten solo exhibitions and participation in an array of group shows.
