Artūras Tamašauskas

Artūras Tamašauskas was born in 1963 in Viešintos, a village in the Anykščiai district. Immersed in an environment rich with art and music during his upbringing, Artūras was naturally inclined to pursue a career in the arts. He is now renowned for his expertise in crafting small-scale sculptures, frequently employing ready-made or repurposed objects and tools as part of his artistic process.

His work is closely aligned with the steampunk aesthetic, notable for its unique fusion of historical and contemporary elements. Artūras is celebrated for revitalizing abandoned items, reimagining them as modern sculptures that inspire both nostalgia and a sense of inventive energy.
